For seed to Series A companies making mobile and AI decisions
Your mobile app doesn't have a senior engineer making the calls.
Most companies at this stage have shipped an app, or are about to start one, without anyone senior enough owning architecture, hiring, or the AI half of the roadmap. I take that role directly, not as a full-time hire and not by the hour.
Fractional Mobile + AI Engineering Lead. $5,000/month, 3-month minimum.
What this looks like inside your org
- 01Architecture decisions keep landing on the founder, because nobody senior enough owns them.
- 02The “add AI” line has been on the roadmap for two quarters, and nobody on the team can actually execute it.
- 03The last senior mobile candidate either wanted full-time equity, or couldn't touch the AI half of the roadmap.
- 04Nobody owns App Store health, release cadence, or code quality. Features ship, but nothing senior is watching the whole system.
Most mobile engineers can't ship the AI layer. Most AI engineers can't ship mobile. That combination is the actual gap.

What colleagues say
“iOS has no secret for him, either it is old Obj-C code or new Swift patterns in the latest iOS versions.”
Elisée Kaboré, Engineering Manager at Wise Systems. Directly managed Junaid.
“He evaluated all of the business requirements, decided the tech stack after evaluating multiple options, and solely delivered the first version of the app in less than two months.”
Atif Dastgir, startup founder. Hired Junaid to lead mobile engineering.
“Despite the workload, he always rose to the challenge and frequently provided his expertise on application strategy, performance, and scalability.”
Mike Wong, Product at Maven Clinic. Directly managed Junaid at Caremerge.

Try it
You're evaluating whether I can ship AI products.
Here's one.
This is a working Claude integration, not a scripted demo. Ask it what you'd ask before a call: scope, availability, price, stack, how the engagement actually runs.
Try asking
If this is the gap you have, let's talk.
Twenty minutes. We look at your architecture and roadmap, and I tell you directly whether this is a fit. No deck, no follow-up sequence.
Not a fit if
- ×You're an agency looking to subcontract the work.
- ×You want a full-time hire, not a fractional lead.
- ×You need someone to write the app from scratch. I'll help you make the calls, not type every line.
- ×You're shopping on hourly rate.
Questions
How does onboarding work?
A short technical audit first: current architecture, App Store health, CI/CD, and where the AI roadmap has stalled. No lengthy discovery process. The first change ships inside the first two weeks.
What if we haven't shipped anything yet?
I'm not the person who writes your MVP from nothing, but I will help you get the early calls right: stack, architecture, and who to hire first. Same retainer, same cadence, just earlier in the timeline.
What happens in the first month?
Architecture and triage first: fixing what's actively blocking releases, setting a weekly review cadence with your team, and picking the highest-leverage AI feature to ship. By week four there's a shipped change, not a slide deck.
What if we're in a different time zone?
I'm based in Islamabad (GMT+5). Mornings overlap with EU and UK hours, evenings overlap with US hours. Architecture decisions and code review don't need real-time presence for the rest.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. Everything built during the engagement is yours: code, architecture, documentation. Standard and non-negotiable.
What happens if we need to end the engagement early?
After the 3-month minimum, it runs month-to-month. Either side can end it with notice. No auto-renewing contract, no lock-in beyond the initial term.
Is this hourly, or can it scale?
Flat monthly retainer, not hourly. Capacity is fixed at roughly 8 hours a week. Past that, we talk about whether this is still the right engagement shape, not about adding hours to an invoice.
